A broadcast exploring the work of sound artist Matthew Ward and the compositions that inspire the project. 'Stranger' collages street recordings and interviews with chance encounters/fleeting meetings to create immersive soundscapes and audio essays.
The project synthesises a wide-range of fields including social documentary, musique concrète, street photography, genre art, Dada, surveillance and audio description.
The album 'Stranger' was released on 22nd March 2024.
